Hello fellow MCoG fans. I have received several interesting
items in the mail recently. A French fan sent a link to a well researched
article
she wrote about the show. It is in French, but you can get an idea of
what is written with a translator. It was very interesting and had a
lot of information that I didn't know.
StephanieScully has sent another chapter of her continuation
along with a personality quiz that will tell you which character you
are most like.
Also Sailor Jenova sent me some observations she has
made while watching the show for her fanfic. I have posted them in the
timeline section.

Hello everyone! I've just returned from a lovely holiday
two-week holiday in Germany and France. It was my first time traveling
outside the US and I loved it. Wonderful counties! Anyway, there is
nothing like a nine hour plane ride for getting some work done, and
so I have finally completed the last half of Beyond the Great Doors.
I've also nearly finished another chapter of Zia's Story, for
those of you who have been asking, and hope to be able to type it up
soon. It would sure speed things up if I had a laptop. ^_^
The ever faithful (she puts me to shame ;D ) StephanieScully
has also sent another chapter of her MCoG continuation. Looks like there
could be some more romantic developments soon, so be sure to check it

I also have exciting news regarding my original Mendoza

Merry Christmas! I have a couple of presents for my visitors.
First, StephanieScully has sent me two new chapters of her fic along
with some bonus information. Her story is taking new turns as the modern
adventurers of her story look for the next City of Gold.
I have also decided to post the first half of Beyond
the Great Doors in The Ancient Legacy. I have to solve a
little problem I have created for myself in the rest of the chapter,
but it will be up shortly. Special thanks to Blas Mendoza for his holiday
greeting, which prompted me to get back to work on this story. ^_^ I

Ok, I actually updated again! The reason for this update
is to announce that StephanieScully's modern MCoG fanfic finally has
been taken out of the dungeon of my guestbook and placed on a proper
fanfiction page. Thanks to her for the great submissions and her patience
with my updating lulls. ^_^
Another fan, Amie, has made an awesome drawing that accompanies
Chapter 3 of the Ancient Legacy. You can look at it in the fanart section
or in the chapter itself. I think it is a wonderful and am blown away
by her talent!
Everyone encourage both of these fans talents so that
they will be inspired to continue with their efforts!
I am still working on the Timeline and the next chapter
of the Ancient Legacy when I have a minute. I hope both will be up soon,
but they will have to wait on the two papers that I have to write this
week (although actually, I seem to be more productive at updating when
I have some horrible assignment coming up ^_~). Hopefully, there will

Ha ha! The update was up before midnight so I can still
say that it is for my site's sixth anniversary. This update features
an addition that I hope will grow into an interesting element of this
site. Check out the newest section of Sailor Heva's MCoG - The Timeline.
Yeah I am going to attempt to piece together the assortment of clues
in the series and give my estimation of exactly how long Esteban and
the others were searching for the first city of gold. Thought it might
be fun. Anyone can contribute to this effort, so if you have better
information than I, please share. ^_^ I will be working on this sections
for a while, but the preliminary stuff is up.
I also have some fan submissions that I will be posting
today, including some wonderful new screen
grabs. Thanks David! And a new fan submitted fanfiction that features
modern adventures following in Esteban's footsteps searching for the
Cities of Gold. That will be in the fanfiction section sometime today
as well.
I will update as I can, but I am back in school and working
two jobs at the moment, so time is precious. I have, however, finished
writing the next chapter of The Ancient Legacy ages ago, but it was
handwritten and I had to type it. Between work and school, I have barely
had time to sleep, but I am back on track so half of it is typed and
the rest will be done soon. (It is quite a long chapter, if that is
any consolation ^_^).

I had an unfortunate accident working on a piece of fanart recently.
I have had a wax mold of a medallion that I made years ago and finally
had a chance to cast it this last semester. Unfortunately, it was one
of five projects I cast that day. The old saying "Measure twice"
certainly applies in this case as I didn't add enough brass to complete
the project. If you want to see it, click here.
Fortunately, I now have access to more wax and can make another or I
would be rather upset. ^_^
Sorry for the long delay in updates. My final year of
my ungrad work was very time consuming. I was writing papers every week
for this last semester for a prof I really respect, but who is incredibly
demanding. Between that, my two Latin classes, and working for another
prof, I thought I was totally burned out on writing for a while. Now
I finally feel like taking up my fanfics again and have most of the
next chapter of Ancient Legacy finished. I am going to make a
sincere effort to finish it in the next week. I am also finishing a
chapter of my Pirates of the Caribbean fic that will be posted
on Fanfiction.net.
In other news, I have received high praise for my Malinche
essay. I won the Best Women's History paper at the regional conference
of Phi Alpha Theta, a history honors society, and I also received a
rather large cash price for the best undergrad essay of the year at
my university. It was very gratifying to have my work, which was inspired
by MCoG, has been received so well by my professors and colleagues.

Salvete Amici! I'm finally back. Not that I have been
any where other than being very busy with school and work. ^_^ I've
finished my undergrad thesis. It actually ties into MCoG so I have decided
to post it and an earlier paper I wrote that started me thinking about
who Malinche really was and why she is perceved the way she is in Mexican
history as well as in The Mysteriouc Cities of Gold. The results of
my inquiry are on the Fanfiction page as well as a new fic by Louis
Protagonist. Check it out. It proposes a very different ending to
MCoG than many of us probably would have imagined and I found it very

Wow, time flies when your back in school. I don't have
a lot going on in this update other than some general house cleaning
type stuff. I've gone through the links and weeded out the dead ones.
Makes me sad to see how many are gone. :( I've also put up some new
links that might be of interest including the official MCoG fanlisting.org
site. Go join if you haven't already done so. ^_^ It also looks like
there is a MCoG video game (possibly two) in the works. You can find
that on the links page as well. I'm having trouble (well more than usual)
finding time to write this semester as I am writing my senior thesis.
I can't wait until this term is over so I can have a life again! Anyway,
I may be slow in updating stuff, but don't give up on me. I'm still
here! ;D Oh, and over the summer I discovered a new anime love. You
can see the results of my having watched Trigun on the fanart page.

Okay, there are a couple of new things to mention. In
response to a discussion about the ages of the MCoG characters on Goldlist,
I have posted some screen caps from the French DVDs. These captures
aren't the best. My capture card bit the dust shortly after making them
and I haven't replaced it yet. So forgive the fuzziness. I will make
new caps when I can. The pics are on the Misc. Page. I have also posted
Chapter 4 of my non-MCoG PotC fanfic, Guidelines.

Well it has been a long time. Sorry for the lack of
updates! I've been taking several very difficult classes and hardly
have time for homework let alone fun stuff like this site. I finished
the next chapter of Mendoza's Story Part II but haven't had time
to have it edited. I have posted it anyway but beware! ^_^ There may
be errors and it will likely be changed when I have time to have my
sister edit it. There are also several updates to tell you about at
this time. I was sent some new fantastic new fanart, which can now be

I've been working on a coupled of new projects these
past few weeks. First of all, I have posted the new Flash version of
the "Which MCoG Character Are You?" There really isn't a change
in content, but it is a first step for all the other Flash movies I
have planned to create in the near future. I have also posted my first
non-MCoG fanfic. It is called Guidelines and is a prequel (my
specialty ^_^) for Pirates of the Caribbean. This new story can be found

link. I have finished writing next chapter of Mendoza's Story
Part II, but have to finish typing it before it can be posted. This
will probably have to wait until the Thanksgiving break because I have

Hello Everyone! Today was the four year anniversary of
the opening of this site and it has been a memorable journey. Thanks
to everyone who has visited this site! It helps me stay motivated to
keep producing new and better content. To celebrate, I have finally
posted the first chapter of my new prequel. This story will tell of
Zia's capture by Pizarro and her years in Spain while also shedding
light on how she came by the incredible wealth of knowledge that helped
guide Esteban and company to the Cities of Gold. As always comments
and criticisms are welcome and appreciated. Along these same lines,
the next chapter of Mendoza's Story Part II is on the way. It is taking
me forever to get things done these days because of my hectic schedule
and complete lack of time. I will do my best, however, to get this chapter
finished before the end of the month. As promised, I have been working
on a few new features for the site and these will be completed in the
next little while. The first will be a Flash makeover for the MCoG Personality
Test, but I hope to have plenty of new material to present in the near

Well it finally happened. I have posted a new Fanfic
chapter of The Ancient Legacy. I had planned to write at least
one chapter a month for the summer, but as usual I already behind. This
chapter was supposed to be for May, but rest assured I will have a new
chapter up before the end of June. It will either be the next chapter
of Mendoza's Story or the first of the fic about Zia. Des has
also sent me two new fanart pictures and these are now displayed on
the Guest Fanart page. Also, check out the new look and the most recent

Okay, a few new items have been added. The character pages
have been tweaked a bit, there is a new section in the image gallery
that displays art work drawn by the MCoG animators, and the personality
quiz now is a on a page of its own with a button on the main nav bar.
A new section on the Miscellaneous page gives the meanings of many of
the character names in MCoG, there are several new sprites on the adoption
page, and there is a new clip on the music page. I also have had several
submissions of fanart (which makes me very happy) and these images are
in a section on the fanart page. More additions will be up soon. - Sailor

Now I finally feel like taking up my fanfics again and have most of the next chapter of Ancient Legacy finished. I am going to make a sincere effort to finish it in the next week. I am also finishing a chapter of my Pirates of the Caribbean fic that will be posted on Fanfiction.net.
In other news, I have received high praise for my Malinche essay. I won the Best Women's History paper at the regional conference of Phi Alpha Theta, a history honors society, and I also received a rather large cash price for the best undergrad essay of the year at my university. Salvete Amici! I'm finally back. Not that I have been any where other than being very busy with school and work. ^_^ I've finished my undergrad thesis. It actually ties into MCoG so I have decided to post it and an earlier paper I wrote that started me thinking about who Malinche really was and why she is perceved the way she is in Mexican history as well as in The Mysteriouc Cities of Gold. The results of my inquiry are on the Fanfiction page as well as a new fic by Louis Protagonist. Check it out. Wow, time flies when your back in school. I don't have a lot going on in this update other than some general house cleaning type stuff. I've gone through the links and weeded out the dead ones. Makes me sad to see how many are gone. :( I've also put up some new links that might be of interest including the official MCoG fanlisting.org site. Go join if you haven't already done so. ^_^ It also looks like there is a MCoG video game (possibly two) in the works. You can find that on the links page as well. I'm having trouble (well more than usual) finding time to write this semester as I am writing my senior thesis. I can't wait until this term is over so I can have a life again! Okay, there are a couple of new things to mention. In response to a discussion about the ages of the MCoG characters on Goldlist, I have posted some screen caps from the French DVDs. These captures aren't the best. My capture card bit the dust shortly after making them and I haven't replaced it yet. So forgive the fuzziness. I will make new caps when I can. Finally! I have posted a new chapter of The Ancient Legacy, which is up on the Fanfic page. Once again it hasn't been edited (my sisters have been rather non cooperative of late ;p) so sorry for any mistakes. I will correct them when I can. say that it was a really fun quiz. You can usually tell exactly who
you are going to get with quizzes, but I was surprised by my results.

Well it has been a long time. Sorry for the lack of
updates! I've been taking several very difficult classes and hardly
have time for homework let alone fun stuff like this site. I finished
the next chapter of Mendoza's Story Part II but haven't had time
to have it edited. I have posted it anyway but beware! ^_^ There may
be errors and it will likely be changed when I have time to have my
sister edit it. There are also several updates to tell you about at
this time. I was sent some new fantastic new fanart, which can now be
viewed on the Guest FanArt page. There is also a new member on the MCoG
Fanlist (welcome!) as well as some new links, one of which is below
as well as listed on the Links page. I also have added some new quizzes
to the About Me section that are kind of fun. I think that is all for

I've been working on a coupled of new projects these past few weeks. First of all, I have posted the new Flash version of the "Which MCoG Character Are You?" There really isn't a change in content, but it is a first step for all the other Flash movies I have planned to create in the near future. I have also posted my first non-MCoG fanfic. It is called Guidelines and is a prequel (my specialty ^_^) for Pirates of the Caribbean. This new story can be found in the movies section of Fanfiction.net or by clicking on this link. I have finished writing next chapter of Mendoza's Story Part II, but have to finish typing it before it can be posted. Hello Everyone! Today was the four year anniversary of the opening of this site and it has been a memorable journey. Thanks to everyone who has visited this site! It helps me stay motivated to keep producing new and better content. To celebrate, I have finally posted the first chapter of my new prequel. This story will tell of Zia's capture by Pizarro and her years in Spain while also shedding light on how she came by the incredible wealth of knowledge that helped guide Esteban and company to the Cities of Gold. As always comments and criticisms are welcome and appreciated. Along these same lines, the next chapter of Mendoza's Story Part II is on the way. It is taking me forever to get things done these days because of my hectic schedule and complete lack of time. I will do my best, however, to get this chapter finished before the end of the month. As promised, I have been working on a few new features for the site and these will be completed in the next little while. The first will be a Flash makeover for the MCoG Personality Test, but I hope to have plenty of new material to present in the near future. Well it finally happened. I have posted a new Fanfic chapter of The Ancient Legacy. I had planned to write at least one chapter a month for the summer, but as usual I already behind. This chapter was supposed to be for May, but rest assured I will have a new chapter up before the end of June. It will either be the next chapter of Mendoza's Story or the first of the fic about Zia. Des has also sent me two new fanart pictures and these are now displayed on the Guest Fanart page. Also, check out the new look and the most recent sprites on our sister site, Accio Potter. Okay, a few new items have been added. The character pages have been tweaked a bit, there is a new section in the image gallery that displays art work drawn by the MCoG animators, and the personality quiz now is a on a page of its own with a button on the main nav bar. A new section on the Miscellaneous page gives the meanings of many of the character names in MCoG, there are several new sprites on the adoption page, and there is a new clip on the music page. I also have had several submissions of fanart (which makes me very happy) and these images are in a section on the fanart page. I was planning several improvements to my site that I hoped to have ready for today, my site's four year anniversary. Unfortunately, school has interfered with all of my plans. I'm taking three history classes and one anthropology this semester and I got more than I bargained for.
