The High Priest of the City of Gold
The High Priest is the guardian of the City of Gold and the keeper of the
Great Library.
But he is more than even all of this. He is Esteban's father,
the Traveling Prophet. After being swept away in the storm when
Esteban was rescued, he apparently continued to wander across
the New World until he found the City of Gold.
When the real High Priest of the City died the prophet took over his duties,
hoping that one day Esteban would find his way to the City of Gold and be reunited
with him.
